18 Holes of Golf holiday sale set Nov. 19 at CasaBlanca Golf Course

A sale with big holiday Christmas spirit offering major savings on everything from golf tees to sets of golf clubs will highlight the first 18 Holes of Golf Holiday Shopping event from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 at the CasaBlanca Golf Club.
“It’s going to be way-cool,” said Palms Golf Club merchandiser Marsha Sherwood who is helping organize the event with CasaBlanca merchandiser Carleena Thornton. “Literally, shoppers will be able to find everything from golf tees for a few cents to complete sets of golf clubs – and everything is being sold at big sale prices.”
Prices on items will be reduced from 20-50 percent, and free gift wrapping will be provided. The sale will include golf equipment for both men and women along with junior golfers.
“Our goal is to turn this into an annual event,” said Thornton, a native of Alaska who has been with the CasaBlanca Golf Club for five years. “This is going to become the place to be each holiday season.”
Thornton also pointed out that a $150 purchase comes with a free round of golf at either the Palms or the CasaBlanca. In addition, the Mesquite Golf Pass will be available for purchases.
Those purchasing golf passes during the sale will also receive a free sleeve of golf balls.
The event will also include drawings every 30 minutes with various prizes being awarded. Those bringing canned food items for the Mesquite Food Bank will also be included in a drawing for golf for four at a Mesquite course.
Also available will be photos with Santa and complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres. Representatives from Calloway and Adams golf will be on site with special promotions and custom orders.
